The Roll & Comb 502 sweeper is the industries #1 walk behind power sweeper for artificial grass surfaces ranging from 1,600 to 4,800 square feet. This high powered electric power broom cleans and collects the moss, leaves, pine needles and other debris from the artificial grass while combing and elevating the grass fibers.
It’s light, and has an adjustable handlebar design that facilitates the use and correct position for various user heights. Its brushing system is equipped with excellent quality nylon bristles that send the waste to the collection bag. In addition, it has working height regulation to regulate the intensity of the sweep.
All units are made for use in the United States with 110 power outlets.

The product works great! I have a tree that dumps paper thin small leaves onto my turf in addition to pine needles and larger leaves. I was using a blower and the hand rake that comes with the turf but none of them did the job to remove leaves stuck in the turf. This does a great job of fluffing up the turf and pulling leaves out in the process. Made a huge difference for us. Our turf is around 1,700 square feet and it would be near impossible to keep it clean with out this roll & comb.

As a 61-year-old female disabled veteran with knee & wrist damage, I tried to use RYOBI 40V Expand-It Cordless Battery Attachment and Expand-It Sweeper to refresh my artificial grass. Chile, it was like taming a wild beast the way it pulled me across the grass. Then I was shocked by electrical currents when I pushed the trigger switch even though its battery operated. I immediately returned it.
I searched for an easier way to refresh my 9-year-old artificial grass & discovered the Spanish-designed Garland Roll & Comb on YouTube. So I Googled for a retailer in the United States and found U.S. Power Broom.

It also vacuums the leaves & debris smoothly, so I blow them all onto my grass and use my Roll & Comb 502 to vacuum them up. When finished, my artificial grass looks more like natural grass with the mowed lines.

I was apprehensive about purchasing this machine but after using it the first time on my artificial turf, I was very pleased. The turf was a little damp but the Roll and Comb still picked up everything my pine trees drop. I love the way the machine brings the nap back up, making the turf look brand new. So glad I bought this. Would definitely recommend, as long as your yard is level.

The broom works great as advertised….. The only thing that I would change is where the debris bag attaches to the broom, there is a little bit of a slope so unless the debris is thrown completely into the bag some debris is left in the machine.

The Roll & comb 502 works very well to pick up leaves, small twigs and small debris deep in the artificial turf. It has significantly reduced my time doing this with any type of rake or home-made contraption. Although the price was somewhat higher than other similar power brushes I saw, it is the only one I found of its type (four wheels, debris catcher, electric) for Artificial turf that is 120 volt. Several others are available in the UK for a little less, but are only sold as 220V for EU market. After using the 502, it is well worth the price.

More than some of the local power brooms, but reviews on the gas tillers converted or the gas trimmers converted even though cheaper appeared not to be worth the money. Turf was installed last October, tried a hand rake made for turf, for 1300 square feet not a real option. This version cleans the maple seeds and any little twigs from the tree and leaves, leave the turf looking super. Prior to this I could still see the seam and the (belly buttons) as my wife called the nail imprints. Once over and cannot find the seam or the nails. It is quieter than the cordless lawnmower I used to use on the lawn, it is easy to use, I am impressed. Turf now looks like a newly mowed lawn.

I am very impressed with the performance of this machine. I have mesquite and pine trees around my turf and I was concerned about it picking up the tiny mesquite leaves that end up down in the turf.
